The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps from Concord, California, the 20-time reigning World Champions of Drum Corps International, performed free for the public Monday night at Gowans Stadium to a crowd of enthusiastic people! The Blue Devils practiced at Hutchinson Community College in the afternoon then met with Kansas band students for a clinic. The Blue Devils conducted ensemble work and run throughs and that evening performed their full show "Cut-Outs."
The Sky Ryders
Performing Arts Foundation is working to bring back the Sky Ryders Drum and Bugle Corps to their former home in Hutchinson. They had a table at the stadium to give out information.
The Blue Devils stopped in Hutchinson on their way to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma then on to their Drum Corps International Southwestern Championships in San Antonio, Texas.
