ArlingtonBridge Reopened

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held July 7th to celebrate the opening of the new Arlington Rd. bridge.

Arlington Mayor Doug Smith and County Officials were on hand to officially open the bridge.

The aging Arlington Road Bridge was replaced as it didn’t meet current legal load standards. The new bridge is 196-foot-long bridge at a cost of $1,526,350.00. Reno County received a KDOT Cost Share for this bridge so the cost of the bridge to the taxpayers was $732,796.00. Construction on the bridge started 12-2021 and ended 7-2022.
