In response to economic hardships experienced because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the state of Kansas has made emergency relief funding available from federal money provided under the CARES Act. The money is being distributed by Gov. Laura Kelly’s Strengthening People and Revitalizing Kansas (SPARK) Task Force.
A portion of the dollars has been allocated to Reno County. Of that allotment, $1.089 million in grant funding has been set aside to help nonprofits and K-12 private schools offset pandemic-related incurred expenses, planned future expenses or revenue losses.
Reno County organizations registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a nonprofit or Reno County K-12 private schools are eligible to apply by clicking on the button below and completing the application. The deadline to apply is Sept. 30, 2020.
