Per COVID-19 Guidelines from the Public Health Officer to lessen contact between clients and staff, we are now requiring paperwork of applications or mortgage inspection request and payments PRIOR TO site evaluations and mortgage inspections unless prior arrangements have been made, such as contractors’ charge accounts.

Checks, Cash, Money Orders, Debit/Credit Cards* and Electronic Checks (eChecks)* are accepted.
Reno County Health Department uses the State of Kansas payment processing system for Credit, Debit, and Electronic Check processing. “State of Kansas” will show as the vendor on the bank statement.
*Credit/Debit cards require an additional 2.5% processing fee
*Electronic Checks (eChecks) require an additional $1.50 per check
Returned checks, eChecks, credit or debit card payments are assessed an additional $30 return processing fee. If returned, payment will be expected to be paid by cash or money order within 10 days.
