Reno County District Court is the 27th Judicial District of Kansas. The court has general original jurisdiction over all civil and criminal cases, including divorce and domestic relations, damage suits, probate and administration of estates, guardianships, conservatorships, care of the mentally ill, juvenile matters, and small claims.

Jury Information

Jurors will not report Monday, May 13, 2024. Your next reporting date is Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Please check this website or call 620-694-2763 on Monday, May 13, 2024 after 5:00 PM to confirm this reporting date.

Masks or face coverings are no longer mandatory in court areas. Those who feel more comfortable wearing a face covering are encouraged to do so. If you have any concerns while you are in the courthouse serving on jury duty please speak with court staff and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Please Note

When called in for service, all jurors need to enter the front (south) secured entrance. This includes those who require handicap accessibility. Please do not attempt to bring in the following items, as they are prohibited from entering the courthouse:

  • Firearms
  • Ammunition
  • Stun guns/Tasers
  • Explosives
  • Knives of any size
  • Swords
  • Martial arts weapons
  • Pepper spray/Mace
  • Tools
  • Scissors
  • Bows/arrows
  • Brass knuckles
  • Toy weapons

The terminal is located on the third floor of the District Court Clerk's office.

8 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
