Reno County hosts many events throughout the year. Our beautiful Sports Arena is home to the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship.
Reno County is located in South Central Kansas. As of the 2020 census, the population was 61,898. The largest city and county seat is Hutchinson.
Reno County is a great place to work and live. Take part in some of our events such as Third Thursday, Pretty Prairie and Abbyville Rodeos, and the Kansas State Fair.
Reno County has 1,255 square miles of land, and 17 square miles of water. It's easily accessible by four major highways: US 50, K-61, K-96 and K-14.
