Office Manager Sherri Owston |
 In 1978, Sherri was a junior at Hutchinson High School when she began her career with the Reno County Sheriff’s Office as a secretary. At that time, she was involved in a program called CIT, which placed students in various jobs in businesses throughout Reno County. In 1985, Sherri was promoted to the position of Office Manager. Since coming to work here 34 years ago, Sherri has worked for three sheriffs and eight undersheriffs. Sherri oversees the Support Services division and supervises 2 civilian employees. She also assists the Undersheriff with the finances. Support Services The Support Services division is responsible for typing the agency’s reports, overseeing the Senior Patrol program, processing concealed carry applications, data entry into the records management system and numerous other day-to-day activities that keep the agency moving forward.
